* SONGS OF ADORATION   10,000 Reasons      Blessed Assurance
Chorus Bless the Lord O my soul. O my soul. Worship His Holy name.
Sing like never before, O my soul. I’ll worship Your Holy name

1 The sun comes up. It’s a new day dawning. It’s time to sing Your song again.
Whatever may pass and whatever lies before me, let me be singing when the evening comes. Chorus

2 You’re rich in love, And You’re slow to anger. Your name is great, And Your heart is kind.
For all Your goodness, I will keep on singing. Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find. Chorus

3 And on that day, when my strength is failing, the end draws near and my time has come.
Still my soul will sing Your praise unending. Ten thousand years and then forevermore. Chorus

1 Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! O what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God, born of his Spirit, washed in his blood.

Refrain This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long;
this is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long.

2 Perfect submission, perfect delight, visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
angels descending bring from above echoes of mercy, whispers of love. Refrain

3 Perfect submission, all is at rest; I in my Savior am happy and blest,
watching and waiting, looking above, filled with his goodness, lost in his love. Refrain

PASSING THE PEACE OF CHRIST
With gratitude for knowing that we are one in Christ, let us offer one another signs of Christ’s peace:

One: These are powerful gifts, All: to be used through the church in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Thanks be to God, Amen.

SPECIAL MUSIC    All the People Said Amen Praise Team
You are not alone if you are lonely. When you’re feeling frail, you’re not the only
We are all the same in need of mercy to be forgiven and be free
It’s all you got to lean on, but thank God, it’s all you need.

Chorus And all the people said Amen, whoa, oh-oh. And all the people said Amen
Give thanks to the Lord, for his love never ends. And all the people said Amen

If you’re rich or poor, well, it don’t matter. Weak or strong, we know love is what we’re after
We’re all broken, but we’re all in this together. God knows we stumble and fall
And he so loved the world he sent his son to save us all Chorus

Blessed are the poor spirits who are torn apart. Blessed are the prosecuted and the pure in heart
Blessed are the people lonely for another start. For this is a kingdom, the kingdom of God Chorus

SCRIPTURE READING
Isaiah 55:1-3a Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you that have no money, come, buy
and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen carefully to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food. Incline your ear, and come to me; listen, so that you may live.

Matthew 5:6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.”

HYMN OF FAITH
As the Deer (The Faith We Sing #2025)
As the deer pants for the water, so my soul longs after you.
You alone are my heart’s desire, and I long to worship you.

You alone are my heart’s desire, and I long to worship you.

You are my friend and you are my brother, even though you are a King.
I love you more than any other, so much more than anything. Chorus

Blessed Assurance (verse 3)
Refrain This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long;
this is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long.

Perfect submission, all is at rest; I in my Savior am happy and blest,
watching and waiting, looking above, filled with his goodness, lost in his love. Refrain
