Sunday Worship. November 21, 8&10AM. Online/In-Person

We are visiting stories of lesser-known characters in the Bible
and learn how their stories help us grow to greater heights and depths in our walk with God.

Come and worship – online or in-person. Celebrate God’s presence and communion with us.

Both of our 8&10AM services continue to be livestreamed https://www.facebook.com/LodiUMC

* HYMN OF ADORATION     Great Is Thy Faithfulness (United Methodist Hymn #140)
1 Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father; there is no shadow of turning with thee;
thou changest not, thy compassions, they fail not; as thou hast been, thou forever wilt be.

Refrain Great is thy faithfulness! Great is thy faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see;
all I have needed thy hand hath provided; great is thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

2 Summer and winter and springtime and harvest, sun, moon, and stars in their courses above
join with all nature in manifold witness to thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love. Refrain

3 Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth, thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside! Refrain

* PRAYER FOR OUR OFFERINGS
Most gracious God, with thankful hearts we rejoice in your goodness towards us,
and in the many blessings that we receive each day.
In love you provide for your people’s needs and you accompany us along the way.
We give you our thanks for the physical gifts that sustain us,
and for the added blessings which make life more joyful and full.
We are thankful for those who have been bountiful towards us,
giving of their time, their skills and their love.
May these gifts we offer in return also bless others.
May we be ever grateful and be generous with all that you have bestowed. In your name, Amen.

SONG OF FAITH    Sent Forth by God’s Blessing (United Methodist Hymnal #664)
1 Sent forth by God’s blessing, our true faith confessing,
the people of God from this dwelling take leave.
The service is ended, O now be extended
the fruits of our worship in all who believe.
The seed of the teaching, receptive souls reaching,
shall blossom in action for god and for all.
God’s grace did invite us, and love shall unite us
to work for God’s kingdom and answer the call.

2 With praise and thanksgiving to God ever living,
the tasks of our everyday life we will face.
Our faith ever sharing, in love ever caring,
embracing God’s children of each tribe and race.
With your grace you feed us, with your light now lead us;
unite us as one in this life that we share.
Then may all the living with praise and thanksgiving
give honor to Christ and that name which we bear.
