INTRODUCTION TO CHRISTIAN THEOLOGY (Sept 2020)

Yes, it’s a class about theology. Don’t shrink back! Theology is what we do every Sunday. Be informed that the word theology comes from two Greek roots: theos, which means “God,” and logos, which means “study or reason.” Therefore, theology in its simplest terms is a discipline that studies God. This is what we do in a worship service as we listen to and engage in the Word of God. With this study, set a foundation for your understanding of God and grow your faith in God.

Week 1: Who is God? (pages 33-54)
Week 2: What is the world? Who are we? (pages 55-76)
Week 3: Who is Jesus Christ? (pages 77-96)
Week 4: What is the Church? (pages 97-118)
Week 5: How does the Church live? (pages 119-138)
Week 6: What is our hope? (pages 139-158)
